Dear Members and Friends
For over the 40 years the ADSA has been assisting some of the most vulnerable people in our community and we have endured many different situations which all have brought with them a number of challenges. The Corona Virus is indeed quite unique and I wanted to personally thank you for working with us as we navigate through the daily changes in Government policy and advice.
In order to meet social distancing requirements a number of us have had to work from home or take time off. This approach across WA seems to be leading to some success in fighting new infections. To assist in this process the ADSA Committee has decided we will operate remotely until Wednesday April 29. Our office will be open via phone calls and emails. Any non-urgent requests will be scheduled for the week of April 29. Urgent cases will be dealt with by Rose Marie and Dr Deleuil will undertake telehealth consults if required.
We will resume our clinics from April 29 on Tuesday and Thursdays by telehealth and continue social distancing arrangements until we have new direction from the Government. Please contact our office on 08 93444077, 1800 646 690, or info@asbestosdiseases.org.au if you need us. As outlined above we will have a skeleton staff available to deal with any urgent issues and Dr Deleuil will be making telehealth services available for urgent cases.
I also want to thank everyone for supporting our lifesaving fundraising raffle. Our raffle team will be working remotely and you can contact them on raffle@asbestosdiseases.org.au.
I want to take this time to wish you and your family all the best for a safe and peaceful Easter.
With best wishes and kind regards
Robert Vojakovic AM JP
